First impressions

Sometimes I think I should trust my first impressions more. I naturally make these value judgements in an instant but then I try to discard them because I feel it's far too easy to just get the wrong impression. However, every time I can think of conciously discarding a first impression I've been rudely brought back to it. I think I try hardest to discard bad first impressions. At least these are the impressions that I most sorely remember being brought back to.

Recent ones have been: someone with lack of vision, someone who is basically a bit nasty.. ok 2 isn't very impressive.
