My teacher is wanting us to do some Zhan Zhuang at home. I'm having problems with this because I was trying to do it in the mornings. The mornings are not my favourite time of day so I'm completely failing to do it. Anyway, I had this email exchange with a friend about what we would like to be doing in an ideal world and we came up with this reigime that sounds like a goer:
mornings:
- Swing arms,
- squats,
- asanas,
- Dan Tien,
- stretch
then in the evening:
- swing arms or 7(?) gates,
- 10 from 28 or 8 pieces,
- asanas,
- stretch,
- ZZ(10min),
- swimming dragon no.2
This will make the mornings a short sharp wake-up and then the evenings a more meditative set to help relax after the day. I'm going to give this a try for the rest of the week.
